Why HR Management System
Based on the research by Lyle M. Spencer Jr., PhD in his book “Reengineering Human Resources”, IT and Self Service in a good Human Resources Information System (HRIS) will reduce around 50% company resources in doing administration things in HR. This is a great efficiency and will add value to the company, because HR can put more resources on becoming a strategic partner to Management, and internal consultant to help and facilitate every superior and employee to achieve their performance target.
Our internal study also show, that by using HRIS system software “Netis” in your company, one superior can manage more subordinates. In a manual condition, span of control of one superior is 6-8 subordinates for higher level jobs, and 10-12 subordinates for lower level jobs. But with the help of HCIS as a tool, span of control of one superior is expanded to 10-12 subordinates for higher level jobs, and 15-20 subordinates for lower level jobs. This will greatly increase efficiency of the company, while still maintains its performance effectiveness.
With the decrease in administration costs, reduction in number of unnecessary employees, and increase in productivity, our research shows that this investment will reach break-even in around 1 year.
